HERE'S WHAT'S NOT COVERED IN OUR SERVICE CONTRACTS

  • Full power flushing, updating the heating system or design fault rectification.

  • Replacing the central heating boiler where manufacturer’s parts are not reasonably available.

  • Repairing / replacing non-functional parts.

  • Any part of the system which is too difficult to maintain due to access.

  • Compensation for any loss, damage or inconvenience that may have been caused by the system breaking down.

  • Accidental or malicious damage.

  • Damage caused by fire, flood, lightning, explosion or freezing weather conditions.

  • Faults caused by gas, water or electricity failures.

  • Non-standard cylinders, unvented cylinders and designer radiators i.e. bent, angled and towel rails.

  • Works carried out on the system by someone not authorised by Gas Jet Plumbing & Heating.

  • Domestic plumbing services.

At Gas-Jet Ltd, we are an established company with a good track record, working across Kent and South London; such companies are less likely to go bust thus giving you the reassurance that you can call them when needed. We shall not disappear halfway through your installation.

Larger companies are often very impersonal, you often never speak to the same person twice. Gas Jet has 9 employees, so we are large enough to cover holidays and sickness but small enough for you to speak to and see the same people, most of the time.


4. All engineers apprenticeship trained/fully qualified/employed
All our engineers have undertaken traditional apprenticeships. We have 4 engineers with over 20 years of experience each and 2 younger engineers who have served full apprenticeships. Find out more about our fantastic employees.

A one-man band may take pride in his work but, like all humans, he can make mistakes. Who is going to check his work? 


6. Vaillant & Ideal approved installers
Gas Jet is proud to be partnered with Vaillant and Ideal. We have been installing their boilers for the past 20 years. We believe they are the best available and they also have a local service centre in Kent.


7. Gas Safe, Which? & ConstructionLine registered
Obviously to carry out gas works and heating services, we are Gas Safe registered but we are also registered with ConstructionLine. This is a national database of approved contractors which ensures our insurances are valid, our health and safety operations are adequate and our accounts are solvent etc. We are also members of Which?, the consumer body that looks after consumer needs and offers a consolatory service should a disagreement ever arise. Where we cannot resolve any complaints using our own procedures, as a Which? Trusted trader we use Dispute Resolution Ombudsman for dispute resolution. 8. No deposit required (subject to status)
On taking your order, we shall not ask for any deposit. Indeed we shall not invoice you until the works are
satisfactorily complete. Even then, we will give you 28 days in which to pay.


9. Extended warranties
As 'preferred' installers, we are able to offer our customers extended warranties of up to 10 years.


10. Servicing during the warranty
All manufacturers' warranties are conditional on the annual service being carried out. We will carry out the annual service at a reduced cost during the summer period. Contact our reliable team for more information.
